Advanced Speech Recognition Consultant/Project Manager

Unique position for an Advanced Speech Recognition Consultant/Project Manager to join a National Organisation who are a household name, operating from their regional headquarters in Edinburgh.   In addition to the exceptional salary and benefits package on offer you will also be provided with unique training opportunities and a structured career plan. The core focus of the role is to develop and deliver new Advanced Speech Recognition capabilities to the organisation throughout the UK.  You will be required to develop and deliver new E-self service capabilities, implement new methods to automate customer interface processes, manage all enhancements to the voice platform and support telephony and e-service functionality. You will also require to liaise with the Operations Director to develop an automated product/service for sale to external parties and provide support and guidance to the Operational strategy of the business.  Candidates should be educated to degree level with experience of working with either voice platforms or speech recognition, have several years COMMERCIAL experience of managing a voice platform and building and maintaining a voice portal in a consumer driven market. You will also be required to have experience of implementing speech recognition projects, building speech recognition applications in VXML.  As you will be responsible for overall product and project implementation, some Project Management experience is essential. Any technical exposure to the following technologies would also be highly beneficial - Cisco ICM, ICM scripting or similar IVR scripting experience, VUI Design experience and knowledge of VXML, CCxML, Avaya Definity and Nortel MPS would also be desirable.  This really is a unique opportunity to join an exciting, fast moving company who not only recognise but reward individuals accordingly.
