Brand Manager / Senior Brand Manager

This international, well-respected branded food manufacturer requires a creative and driven Brand Manager to drive development and execution of the business strategy for this portfolio of leading products.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the 3 year strategic plan and the annual brand marketing plan for the product portfolio including; promotional activity; new product development; packaging design; pricing; advertising / PR.
- Support SBM to ensure budget delivery against P+L. Use expert category, consumer, market and business understanding in order to inform decisions for P+L delivery and future development of the categories.
- Fully understand and monitor competitor business and portfolios; assess threats and quickly react to beat competition.
- Work with the SBM to build strong cross-functional relationships both with internal departments and external agencies.
- Participation in the development and presentation of sell-in plans to customers.
- Liaison with European centres to identify opportunities within the European portfolio; translating and tailoring European propositions and concepts for the UK market where appropriate.
- Management and accurate phasing of marketing budgets within agreed targets.

With relevant commercial experience, you will be consumer-focused and comfortable managing projects. Demonstrable results within FMCG marketing activity execution are essential and NPD experience a strong preference.
