Job Title: Communications Service Support Officer (Video Conferencing, Customer Service) Salary: £28,839 to £35,469 per annum pro rata Fixed term for 12 months Ref: ACS/81311 The Access Grid Support Centre (AGSC) supports an advanced national
videoconferencing service which allows life-size continuous images and high quality audio of participants and which allows participants to share desktops, whiteboards and chat online as effectively as face to face meetings. The Development Officer will
play a key role in providing technical and service support to the Access Grid community nationally; and will also co-ordinate an extensive outreach programme for the AGSC including workshops/training and conferences. The successful Communications Service
Support Officer (Video Conferencing, Customer Service) candidate will have a good first degree and significant experience in computing or IT in an industrial or academic setting; experience of providing user support in an IT service environment and strong
