at Cathedral City in London
Group Brand Manager
London - Esher
Reference: MPMI13024120Z
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Car + Bonus + Benefits
Job Type: Permanent
Company: Dairy Crest - Cathedral City brand
A fantastic opportunity to truly own one the UK's leading grocery brands, Cathedral City.
Role description
How often have you looked for a 'full mix' role with 'total brand ownership' and been disappointed to learn that most of the big decisions are made centrally? Well here's proof that they DO exist.
Cathedral City is their largest brand, currently 34th largest in UK retail and worth nearly £200million. It has enjoyed growth of over 25% year on year, so you may be surprised to hear that Dairy Crest feel it's only scratched the surface of its potential. This is where you come in.
Managing one BM and one ABM, you'll be given full autonomy across the entire Cathedral City range from brand new innovation to P&L management and everything in between.
Who we're looking for
A classically trained FMCG marketing professional with a strong commercial acumen and the desire to run a brand as if it were their own business. Desire is not everything though, it's important you also have a track record of strong brand growth, P&L ownership, successful innovation launches, creative development and execution.
Interpersonally, we're looking for a strong communicator who naturally builds cross-functional relationships in order to make things happen. Previous people management experience is essential as this will be key in aligning appropriate resource to the growing needs of the brand.
About our client
Dairy Crest is a UK owned and managed business with a first class attitude to marketing and commercial management. Their brand markting team is at the very heart of the organisation so decisions made by them really do make a difference to the company performance.
Aside from Cathedral City, their impressive brand portfolio includes County Life, Utterly Butterly, Clover and FRijj as well as a number of strategic retailer brands.
Dairy Crest's employees enjoy fast paced careers, lots of responsibility and an open plan environment that promotes hard work and fun. Last, but of course not least, the facilities on site include an employee gym, golf course and swimming pool !
All third party applications will be forwarded to Michael Page.
