Marketing Manager - Global Category - UK 013 Description Summary This role reports to a Global Category Director at the RB head office in Slough, UK. The Marketing Manager is aglobalposition is responsible for driving the growth of a portfolio of solider/local hero brands through the co-ordination of growth strategy projects globally, and the achievement of specific objectives linked to the 4 pillars of the Category Development strategy - ie.innovation, brand equity, entry models/expansion and growth models. Scope of the Role The Marketing Manager will focus on a specific global brands and be responsible for the for the development and execution of all marketing initiatives in a the countries where the brands are present. Responsibilities Develop, prioritise and lead all marketing initiatives for the respective soldier brands Day to day management of all brand related innovation and n ew business initiative projects Direct management of brand budgets ensuring adequate funding of those projects required to meet their targets Lead the implementation of defined NPD projects working with key country Marketing contacts Develop best commercial practices for respective brands regarding innovation, positioning, product, placement, price, copy, media , packaging, promotion Active participation in the development and implementation of best practices across the category development organisation re garding entry and growth models Support the Global Category Director in reviewing and approving copy, product and packaging changes for major launches and re-launches Co-ordinate category market research projects to improve consumer understanding and identify consumer insights Support country marketing teams on an ongoing basis in all aspec ts of brand marketing execution Key Challenges Leading a Global Brand strategy but at the same time effectively responding to the needs of country marketing teams in marketing execution at a local level Being resourceful with budget available for market research and R&D investment Qualifications : Professional Experience Likely to have6-8 years marketing experience and must be able to demonstrate outstanding marketing skills developed within the FMCG environment Educated to minimum bachelors degree level ideally in a business related subject from a recognised University Personal Profile Entrepreneurial International outlook Strong sense of urgency and achievement Resilient and able to respond under pressure Leadership qualities in impacting, contributing and challenging business strategy Ability to influence Strong analytical skills Creativity Financial skills, P&L understanding Willing to relocate internationally to pursue career opportunities The business language in Reckitt Benckiser is English, therefore fluency in English is essential (fluency in other languages is advantageous) Primary Location : Europe-Northern Europe-World HQ (UK)-UK - Slough Marketing Job Type : Experienced Schedule : Full-time Job Function : Marketing 60000 Location: Slough, United Kingdom.
