Marketing Manager - Surround Services Salary: Circa £45 - 48,000 Location: London Contract Type: Full time / Permanent Department: Consumer Proposition In a nutshell: This role will ultimately be responsible for the delivery of commercial and consumer KPI s for surround services. They will create and manage the market and consumer insight relating to surround services, and benchmark Virgin Mobile against its competitors through regular monitoring. The role will manage existing propositions (Roaming, IDD, voicemail, Enhanced Allowances and Corporate Responsibility services such as 118 918 and trade in )as well as developing new and innovative surround service propositions in these and other areas. They will communicate and co-ordinate changes and improvements across the business and develop an annual marketing plan as well as managing the quality and customer experience for this area in line with expectations. What you ll actually do: Proposition development and management: Develops new value propositions aligned to brand positioning, VM ambition and overall strategy Building from consumer and market intelligence, identifies new proposition and service opportunities to extend VM s addressable market and maintain brand relevance within its core target market(s) Drives new propositions and services which contribute to VM s financial and strategic objectives Achievement of business case targets associated with propositions for which the role is accountable. Drives activities to create a more appealing proposition within VM s core target market and create surround value. Product Management & Improvement: Responsible for the ongoing performance of surround services across all customer propositions (I.e. PAYG, SIMO, PAYM, Virgin Media tariffs) includes responsibility for: Roaming, IDD, voicemail, Enhanced Allowances and Corporate Responsibility services such as 118 918 and trade in. Lead the review of existing product and proposition range and develop improvement plans for margin, adoption, usage and future performance developing and maintaining a list of improvement initiatives. Production of commercial performance reports, customer experience/quality performance reports and a roadmap of initiatives for key internal stakeholders on a weekly/ monthly basis as required. Key performance indicators: Responsible for the achievement of overall, mobile internet and entertainment P&L metrics Development and achievement of business case targets associated with Propositions. Availability of high quality documentation and detailed reporting to support the consumer propositions. What you ll need: Strong customer focus with an adept commercial awareness and commercial analytical abilities. Experience in sales, marketing and innovation, preferably in the telecom industry would be an advantage. Significant experience of mobile internet, broadband, entertainment or data products and services required Excellent problem solving skills and creativity with a pragmatic focus on outcomes not process in achieving targets.
