Smartphone Marketing Project Manager 6-9 month fixed term contract Up to £55,000 pro rata + 12.5 % bonus + Benifits Based in Slough The Role As a Marketing Project Manager you will Lead and fully manage key pan-EMEA projects within the Segment Marketing team. In particular, the candidate would be responsible for handling the end-to-end roll-out of a recycling programme targeting used smartphones across key markets. This would require ongoing collaboration and engagement within a matrix environment, working cross-functionally with representatives from teams including but not limited to legal, brand, channel marketing as well as external vendors and their associates. The Person Essential: Degree qualified. Business or marketing qualification preferred. It is critical that the candidate is a logical thinking, self starter who is able to see the big picture, anticipate challenges and propose solutions. Candidate needs to be able to 'hit the ground running' - therefore telecommunication experience is a prerequisite, Prefer if candidate has dealt on pan-European/ EMEA basis previously, ideally across more than three countries in EMEA. Knowledge of EU cultures and cultural sensitivity is paramount - must be demonstrable Ability to positively influence key stakeholders and manage costs to ensure delivery on time and within budget Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, ensuring internal stakeholders are fully abridged of key developments Desirable: A second language, would be an advantage. Experience relating to from handset to software to solution provision, Telco and/ or I. T.
