The successful candidate will need to hold an NVQ3 or equivalent, have a current CRB and be a car driver. JOB DESCRIPTION Continue to identify and assist users of the day services to access work experience placements for a period of six to eight weeks. The placements will mainly be within Sandwell councils various offices The worker would be responsible for monitoring the placements and assisting with . . paperwork, risk assessments etc. They would be able to call on the experience of the person who has been initially involved . with this. Another project the candidate may be called upon to assist with is our new litter picking and plant propagation social enterprises. The client group will be adults in the main with learning and possible physical difficulties who in all probability have never experienced work before. We need someone who has an aptitude for project work preferably used to working in a Learning Disabilities field, but its not essential. They must be at the hands on level as they will be dealing with clients, managers and staff . of potential work placements. They are looking for reliability with a good attendance record.
